On the night before the cross, Jesus shared a final Passover meal with His disciples — a moment filled with deep love, painful honesty, and divine purpose. In this message, we walk through The Last Supper and the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus revealed that everything unfolding was not accidental, but the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan spoken long before.

From the bread and the cup of redemption to His anguished prayer, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” we see both the full humanity of Jesus and His perfect obedience to the Father. Even as betrayal, denial, and suffering approached, Jesus chose surrender so that forgiveness and new covenant life could be offered to us.

This sermon invites us to consider our own response: Will we stay close to Jesus only in comfort, or will we follow Him in surrender? As we fix our eyes on Christ and remember the cross, we discover that His strength is made perfect in our weakness — and that true life begins when our will is placed into His hands.
