Many people can’t clearly describe these things, let alone find Bible verses that clearly explain them, but having a clear understanding of them is key to having lasting peace and an abundant life.
Scripture tells us that we are each made up of three parts: body, soul, and spirit. “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1st Thessalonians 5:23 NIV)
In this book, we will look carefully at each of these three parts to see what they are and how God created them to function.
